The wallpapers published on this blogs are produced with the technique
vector. In the past I have used other techniques, with the sole purpose of gaining experience. Some of these backgrounds have been preserved. The first technique consisted fully restored in the colors and contours of characters scanned or taken from cels. Although these characters have been drawn in person, the restoration is very expensive and complex. The scanned images contain dirt so the colors are completely redone, not to mention the side dishes that are not always detailed. Time wasted in restoring these images may be higher than that used in designing the characters from the first pixel. The characters have been restored, also the maximum size fixed, but not least if you want to get high resolution wallpapers. Finally, the customization of these images is minimal. For all these reasons, the only technique that applies in draw characters is
vector, used in the past in conjunction with other techniques and has now become elective. In vector graphics image is achieved by accurate mathematical equations that define points, lines and curves. Vector graphics are resolution independent so if excessively enlarged image will never lose the details in contrast to raster images (such as jpeg images that you find online) that, when enlarged, they lose definition. In fact, if you zoom a jpeg image of the resolution becomes very low and the picture quality deteriorates considerably. The possibility of designing high-resolution images, to be able to change later size without losing any quality and subsequently to correct curves and lines inspired me to vote for the vector graphics as the only technique in most of the wallpapers published. The vector technique is carried out with the mouse curve to curve, you must have a steady hand to obtain precise curves to points of inflection that permit the construction of harmonious design with no sharp edges. - character drawing, paying attention to the thickness of the curves, I usually design the characters to the resolution of 4000 pixels and the thickness of the curve is set so that , thereby reducing the character size zoom which appears in the final background, the section does not appear strong but delicate

- overlap of the character to the bottom

With the experience of a character is drawn in about 2 hours, time variable depending on the complexity of the design. The coloration is more time for choosing colors and adding shades and shadows. Initially, colorful characters with a few shadows, then I decided to enrich them with lots of shadows, which makes the character more refined and elegant. The completion of the background is the most complex. I also used grounds ready for use not covered by copyright, but must be appropriate to the character - a rare event - so in most cases I realize them personally.
